


We love creating delicious and artistic seafood platters and are happy to cater for individual tastes by taking a verbal brief on the things you love to eat. All platters are made in-house and are available for collection in store or for delivery to your door.
Our seafood platters are made up of any number of ingredients from freshly cooked shellfish and smoked fish to oysters platters and sashimi arrangements. All platters are garnished with greenery such as samphire, fresh herbs and lemon.
For an additional cost of £1.95 you can add our new Bloody Mary dressing pot, a totally delicious ‘dress or dip’ sauce made in a Marie Rose style with a hint of vodka, Tabasco and Worcestershire sauce.
We are very happy to talk over budgets and numbers with you before designing your platter or you could go for our £55 ‘Date Night’ platter for two people. This consists of one dressed lobster, a posh dressed crab, two different sizes of shell on tiger prawns and some delicious peeled prawns. Date Night Platter for Two £55
All preparation is carried out in house with whole salmons being poached and dressed with ‘cucumber scales’ to maintain moisture and decorated with flower cut vegetables and fresh parsley and lemon slices.
Sizes begin with a 2kg Salmon and go up in increments to our largest at a whopping 5.5kg.
An all-inclusive price, starting at £45.00 for 2.0kg serving about 10 to 12 servings if you have 1 extra protein ( a chicken dish for example) to £112.75 for the 5.5kg salmon.
These prices includes the cost of the fish, poaching skinning, boning and dressing on a platter. A returnable deposit maybe required.

Meet Alpha Zeta Wines
These wines are a new addition to the Sandys Cellar’s Italian family.
Located in the hills just outside Verona, leading NZ winemaker Matt Thompson started working with local growers in this region in 1999.
His aim was to produce a range of top quality wines that realise the potential of the region as opposed to bulk production.
The White
‘G’ Garganega 2019
Gold in colour with an aromatic nose of acacia blossom and dried herbs, it’s clean and zesty with a rich minerality to the palate. Lovely with BBQ’d fish or as an aperitif.
The Rosé
‘R’ Rosato 2019
A pretty pale pink wine with aromas of strawberry and cherry. The fruit is vibrant on the palate with a floral note and a slightly mineral finish. Drink as an aperitif or with seafood or grilled chicken.
The Red
‘V’ Vapolicella 2019
Lively and juicy with fresh cherry aromas that build to cherry pie on the palate. The tannins are soft and supple. Serve it slightly chilled on a warm day.
Aside from these delicious Italian wines, our in-house sommelier has picked a few BBQ faves of her own.
Plum and cherry notes with plenty of smoke and spice, this juicy, fruit forward blend from Swartland, South Africa is superb with barbecued meat and peppery or herbed sauces.

Herència Altés Rosat Especial 2019
Savoury herbal notes combine with a hint of blossom and an abundance of red fruit characteristics. This food friendly wine from Cataluna in Northern Spain works very well with both grilled fish and barbecued meat.
GRAPE: Garnatxa Negra (Grenache Noir)
If you think you know Pinot Grigio, think again! This high altitude wine from Bolzano, Italy shows great depth and character and is definitely a cut above supermarket Pinot Grigios. With very aromatic notes of lime, sage, sandalwood and honey it pairs very well with marinated meat and fish cooked with herbs.

We’ve also created lots of in-house cooking sauces and stocks to make cooking at home easier.
Kits are available to pre-order 24hrs in advance of collection or delivery and come with all the ingredients packed in a hamper box with a printed copy of the recipe.

Villa Montes Central Valley Sauvignon Blanc 2019
A riper style of Sauvignon Blanc from the Curicó Valley in Chile, it has great freshness and a zesty citrus palate.
El Coto Rioja Crianza 2016
With Tempranillo grapes sourced from Rioja Alavesa, Alta and Baja, this wine is aged for 12months in American oak and a further 6months in bottle before release. A fresh nose of concentrated red fruits, vanilla and toasted oak give way to a silky palate of red berries and sweet spice.
Non Alcoholic: Blå Copenhagen Sparkling Tea
A really lovely alternative to champagne with 0% alcohol. Notes of jasmine, chamomile and citrus on the nose are complimented by a palate of green and white tea. Serve chilled in a champagne glass.
