ABOUT: JCB No 21 is an unusual blend of grapes sourced from parcels across Burgundy with the Pinot Noir and Aligoté coming from the Côte d’Or while the Chardonnay and Gamay are from the Mâconnais. Harvesting is done by hand and No. 21 is made according to the traditional method with all four grape varieties being vinified separately in stainless steel tanks before blending and the addition of 20% reserve wine. After the second in bottle fermentation, the wine was then aged on its lees for 24months adding further depth, complexity and total deliciousness!
