ABOUT: Founded by Edwin Doran and André Badenhorst in 2010, this beautiful boutique vineyard near Paarl on the Swartland border is also home to a vast array of wildlife and has a working farm with Aberdeen Angus cattle and Ile de France sheep and Bushveldt hens. Due to the large dam on the Far Horizons farm, the property is home to a vast array of wildlife such as carp fish and a huge collection of birds, ducks and geese. The grapes for this Chenin Blanc are from their newest platings and is their first harvest. Fermentation took placed in old French oak barrels and the wine was left on it’s lees for 14months before bottling.
