STYLE: With a fine perlage, this is a very elegant and well balanced wine from Italy’s leading sparkling wine producer.

‘Bellavista’ means beautiful view and this winery certainly lives up to the name.  It’s situated in the western part of Franciacorta in a stunning natural amphitheatre where the soils are stony and glacial making them ideal for Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. After fermentation, a maturation of seven months in small oak barrels takes place. The wine is then blended with ‘reserve wines’ from seven to nine earlier vintages to ensure a consistent signature style in every bottle. The wine is then left to age on its lees for two and a half years before release. All riddling is still done by hand. Check the bottom of your bottle to see the mark!
